Well I finally got a weeks vacation. It was so needed! My boyfriend and I stayed in Ocean Side California for a few days then drove the 101 back up the coast. It was such a beautiful drive. Next year when we go we decided that we will take the 101 south bound instead of going thru Vegas. We had so much fun just being beach bums and not really having any plan! 
Man when is summer going to get here? I have to agree with my sis in law.... when are we going to be able to enjoy summer. I am looking out the window now and the rain is just coming down :(
Its like its Spring instead of summer.
I have had an eventful last two weekends with lots of family. I got to spend some good time with my sister traveling to Utah with her two kids to go to Calebs baby blessing. Needless to say we missed the blessing because we got stuck behind a pretty bad wreck. But we made it to the lunch- in. While waiting in traffic I got a phone call and was told one of my friends had killed himself. This was very upsetting to me, He left behind a one year old son. I am so glad I was in the car and not around all my family when this happened, so it was a blessing in disguise that we were stuck in traffic.
The following weekend was another fun filled weekend with tons of family. It was Ashlyns turn to be blessed. I missed out on most of the Saturday activities because I was attending a funeral, but still made it up in time to do a little fishing with my Dad and roast marshmallows! I caught my first fish on a fly pole! That was exciting even though the fish was pretty small. Sunday was a morning filled of chaos! It was picture time for all the family. Everyone was trying to rush and get ready and of course the kids attention span was not lasting very long. But between Lynnae and I we got it done! Fffeeeewwww. Pics are soon to come. We got some great shots!
Well my Memorial weekend was pretty uneventful, but yet so busy! I got alot of photography done which I have been dying to get updated. I did a shoot of my roommate and she was a pretty good model. I will have a senior picture shoot, a family shoot and an cd album cover shoot as well this summer! I am excited. Well my volleyball girls got 2nd for their last tournament....unfortunately I was not able to go :(
I was getting ready in the morning and started throwing up and had a wonderful fever. I was very upset that I was not able to attend. My director was going to cancel and I told him no way! As long as an adult is on the bench they can play. My girls worked way to hard for this last tourney. They all kept me very well updated through out the day, almost to the point I couldn't sleep. Between the girls and the parents I thought my phone was going to blow up!
It was such a nice weekend to with the weather and I was in the house the whole time. My fishing got ruined and I didn't get to see my sis and the baby at all either. I didn't even get to see Mom on Sunday. Well I am feeling better as far as the fever but everything is still in my lungs and congested all up. Hopefully this one will not linger around as long as the last one.

Well we are down to one last volleyball tournament!!! This last weekend my girls took 3rd. They played great! I am so amazed at how well this team gets along together. The last couple of teams I coached it was a nightmare trying to keep the girls from just going at each others throats! I will be excited to add some more girls to the team next year. We are hoping to have 2 or 3 teams.
I decided that I am going to drive up to our Aberdeen tourney so I can stay up there with my Sister and the Nieces. I am so excited to see how much Ashlyn has changed just over 2 weeks. I also decided I am going to take some me time and just sit down at the river and do some fishing and have the camera handy of course.
I have been thinking a lot lately also about how lucky I am to have the friends in my life that I do and my family. I had a friend tell me over this weekend that his Mom was diagnosed with cancer :( It has not been to long ago that he lost his Dad to cancer as well. He does not take death well and is so scared to be left all alone. There are a few of us good friends around for him and I make sure that I talk to him on a daily basis. I could not imagine having to loose not only one but both parents to cancer.
Well my only sister just had her baby last week. It was so exciting!!! I got to be in the delivery room with her and that was the experience of a life time. Its such an amazing thing to see a new life come to this world. If any man complains about a woman they need to go into a delivery room lol. My sister did so good. My mom kept telling us that out of all 5 kids, us 2 girls were the toughest! I could only agree ofcourse :)
I am down to my last 2 weeks of coaching volleyball. It has been a long 6mo. season. I am sad to see it come to an end but at the same time working 3 jobs is begining to wear on me. I can tell my girls are getting bored with it as well. We practiced for 4 mo before we had our first tournament and we will only have a total of 4 tournaments. So for a lot of practice they havent had a whole lot to look forward to. If anyone has any great ideas on keeping these girls motivated for the last week, let me know!!!! They are 14 and 16
